DIY Wooden Seder Plates
TheDIY Wooden Seder Platesare super easy to make and customizable to whatever decoration method you wish. The kids really enjoyed creating them with some fun process art and using the final product.
Creativity has no limits with how you want to decorate your seder plates.
- You can simply paint the wood with a paint brush however you would like!
. - Once you are finished, set aside to dry completely. In the meantime, Have your child color the six ritual foods on the Seder plate coloring page (linked here in case you need extra). Cut the foods out before or after coloring.
. - Once the glue is dry, glue the ritual food circles to the smaller wooden circles. Make sure to add a layer of glue or mod podge to the top of the discs to keep everything glued down and shiny (and a little more durable!).
. - Once the large wooden circle and the six smaller circles are dry, use a glue gun to glue the smaller circles around the perimeter of the large wooden circle.
. - Enjoy using your beautiful DIY Wooden Seder Plate at your Seder or for some fun pretend play! or even give them to family members as a gift.
Passover Coloring Books
Fun and Educational: These Passover Coloring Books are not only fun to color, but they help children develop their imagination, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. They can also help children learn about the history and culture of Judaism.
We like these educational and functional coloring books to keep the kids entertained "on theme" during what can seem like a pretty long meal too!
Each child also has a coloring pencil with all the colors they can need so they don't need to share an array of crayons on the table during the special meal.
