What You’ll Need

  • single serving pineapple or peach fruit cups
  • a black sharpie
  • an orange sharpie

You might also need:

  • clear plastic snack baggies
  • a sharp pair of scissors

Instructions

  1. Use the black sharpies to draw some little stick arms, legs, and eyes
  2. Use the orange sharpie to make the beak with an upside-down triangle

You might find a different brand, other than Dole, of fruit snack cups without the expiration date right on top, but if not, here’s what you can do. Flip the snack cups upside down and trace around the plastic top onto a clear snack baggie. Then just cut out a piece of plastic from the snack baggie and draw the chick on this new piece of plastic. Take the plastic tops (with the expiration dates) off of the snack cups and replace with the new plastic over the top. This might actually be a good idea for little ones that need mom’s help to open up these snack cups, anyway. Now you’ve done the work for them.

  • Easter Bunny Peeps
  • Strawberries
  • Cantaloupe
  • Pineapple
  • Green and Red Grapes
  • Blueberries
  • Wooden Skewers

Instructions

  1. Skewer the fruit onto the stick first, leaving room at the end for the Easter bunny Peeps.
  2. Run the tip of the skewer under water or dip it in a glass of water so that the marshmallow peeps will slide on smoothly. If the wooden skewer is dry, the peep will stick to it and not slide on.
